Kentra Health is a private mobile app that organizes your medications, immunizations, symptoms, allergies, and medical history in one place — and pairs it with an AI assistant that answers general wellness questions about your own records. It is not medical advice; check with your healthcare provider.
Apple Health is great for raw metrics from wearables; hospital portals show one provider’s view. Kentra is the layer in between: a human-readable, AI-assisted record you actually open between visits, that travels with you across providers.
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, isolated per-user with row-level security, and never sold or shared with advertisers. Sessions are stored in your device’s secure storage, not in plain text.
Kentra is a consumer app rather than a healthcare provider, so HIPAA itself does not apply to us and we do not claim HIPAA compliance. We voluntarily follow strong engineering practices for handling your health information — encryption, per-user isolation, least-privilege access — and design our practices around the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and state consumer-health privacy laws.
No, and we never pretend otherwise. The AI is for information and preparation — making sense of symptoms, explaining a medication, helping you draft questions for an appointment. Every response is labeled as informational and not a substitute for a clinician.
The assistant can refer to what you have saved (medications, allergies, history), so its general wellness information fits your records better than a generic chatbot. It is built to ask clarifying questions, flag uncertainty, and remind you to check with your healthcare provider. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
You can view your already-loaded records offline. AI chat, sync, and updates require a connection.
Yes, if you choose to connect it under Profile › Devices. On iPhone, Kentra can read up to 36 Apple Health data types — vitals, activity, body measurements, sleep, nutrition, and more. On Android, it can read up to 13 Health Connect data types, including vitals, activity, body measurements, and sleep. Only the categories you allow are read, readings are saved to your Kentra account, and you can remove them anytime under Profile › Devices. Immunizations are still entered manually.
Yes. Export a clean PDF summary of medications, conditions, symptoms, and the questions you want to ask — bring it to an appointment or send it to a family caregiver.
Kentra is currently free. If we introduce paid plans in the future we will say so clearly in the app before anything changes.
Kentra is live on iPhone and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play to get started.
Adults 18 and older who manage their own care — chronic conditions, complex medication regimens, or anyone who walks out of appointments wishing they’d asked one more question — including adult caregivers who help an aging parent prepare for visits. Kentra is not for children, and it is not for tracking a child’s health.
Open the app → Profile → Privacy & Account → Delete Account. Your data is fully erased — no support ticket, no waiting period for the deletion itself.
No. Your conversations and records are not used to train AI models. We use providers that contractually agree not to train on customer data.
