Add, edit or remove a medicine

Your medicine list lives in your health history. Kentra records what you and your doctor decided. It never tells you to start, stop or change a medicine.

Find your medicine list

Go to Home › Records › Health history › Medications › Manage. You will see Active Meds and Inactive Meds, with + Add Medication at the bottom.

Add a medicine

Pick whichever way is easiest for you:

  • Use the form. Tap + Add Medication. Type or say the name and details, then tap Parse Medication to fill in the form. You can also tap Enter details manually.
  • Tell Kentra in chat. For example: "I take lisinopril 10 mg once a day." Kentra runs a safety check, then adds it.
  • Send a photo of the label. In chat, tap + › Camera or Photo Library.

Change or remove a medicine

  1. Tap the medicine in your list, then tap Edit.
  2. Change what you need, such as the strength, the time of day, the start and end dates, or the reason you take it.
  3. To keep it in your history but show you no longer take it, set the status to Inactive.
  4. To remove it completely, tap the trash icon. This cannot be undone.

The colored dot next to each medicine shows its type: red for prescription, amber for over-the-counter, green for supplements.

Refills

Kentra does not keep track of when refills are due. If you use Walgreens, you can ask Kentra in chat to start a refill or transfer. Have the Rx number from your label ready. Kentra gives you a Walgreens link to finish. Other pharmacies are not supported yet.

Good to know

  • Parse Medication needs AI Chat turned on under Profile › Privacy & Account. Without it, use Enter details manually.
  • Tapping a medicine shows a short explainer card. It is general information, not advice. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about your own medicines.
